Assassin’s Creed Origins marks the return of the 10-year-old franchise that is beloved by many across the world. And with Ubisoft’s newest installment, Assassin’s Creed Origins comes a fresh update on the Assassin’s Creed formula. In terms of just the Egyptian story and setting, it looks amazing, but what many fans are hoping for, is the return of a full out modern day single player that the original Assassin’s Creed up to Assassins’ Creed 3 had. And now we have some info regarding that from Director Ashraf Ismail.
Speaking with Twinfinite, the Director of Assassin’s Creed Origins had this to say about the return of the Assassins’ Creed Origins Modern day component:
We are not talking about anything outside of Egypt as of this moment in the campaign. OK… what I would say is, we listen to our fans, we really pay attention to the feedback. They are very passionate about a lot of stuff, including modern day, so we pay attention. I would say: hold onto that detail. More will be announced later. But for now, we’re not talking about anything outside of Egypt.
Even though he didn’t completely state that there will be a Assassins Creed Origins modern day component, you can probably tell from the way he is talking that there probably will be one. And if the leaks we received way back this year are to be true then we can expect a full modern day component in Assassin’s Creed Origins.
